The time sheet software is an incredible magic item that was forged by the dwarves from the deepest parts of mount oral. Before the time sheet software, there were time trackers who had to memorize and keep records of billable hours and invoices made by the surface creatures such as the elves. However the elves were terrible at invoicing their clients. Therefore, obeying DCAA policies set forth by the ancient dragons of old were difficult.
Omar, a dwarf of little notice, frustrated by his peoples’ constant dealings with time slips and time sheets; decided one day to create the time sheet software. At first, his people refused the product. They felt that the time sheet software will only make billing for billable hours that much more difficult. Furthermore, it was not clear if the ancient dragons would have approved of such a device. However, the wise dwarf Oogle consulted the ancient text of DCAA compliance and found nothing that prevented the dwarves from using the time sheet software. Eventually the dwarf community began to accept the magical time sheet software. Shortly after they began to use the device, the normal piles of time sheets began to vanish. Billable hours were becoming more manageable and time sheets were quickly becoming a thing of the past. The elves themselves celebrated the simple fact that they will no longer have to write anything on parchment. They were getting very weary of constantly spilling dwarf made ink all over their wonderful silk garments. The time tracker was in constantly glee now that his invoices were easily kept and well managed due to the magical time sheet software. Truly the invention was genius.
The elves were cheering Omar’s name as they realized that invoicing their arrows out has made so easy thanks to the magical time sheet software. Omar’s invention ushered in a new age of craftsmen ship for the dwarves.
Omar’s invention however did not only help the elves bring their invoices and invoicing in line with the ancient dragons’ DCAA policies. Human settlements also, hearing the news of this creation, began to outsource their work to the dwarves. Libraries and other human organizations began to feel the freedom that the magical time sheet software brings.
Unfortunately, the demand for the time sheet software had created something for the race to fight over. One race would feel that their invoices were more important than other races invoices. This would cause large battles to breakout in order to decide who would get to use the magical software time sheet first. Time trackers would turn into smugglers, who, for extra payment would take your invoices and time slips, to the dwarf caves to have them worked on by the time sheet software.
Omar was again saddened by the turmoil of the world. So he set off to create another time sheet software. This time he would invent one that would be able to process invoices, time sheets, and time slips at the same time.
